About the boat
Delivered in March 2025, Moonlight Shadow is in mint condition with full factory warranties. It is built for ocean sailing in all climates – from tropical trade winds to arctic waters – with a fully welded aluminum hull in 5083 H111, crash boxes at the bow and stern, two watertight bulkheads, and a robust watertight door between the cockpit and saloon. Hull thickness up to 10 mm, through-hull fittings above the waterline, and full insulation (74 mm in the hull) provide a safe and comfortable base for long-distance cruising.
The boat is financed through a favorable leasing agreement that can be transferred to a new owner (subject to approved credit). A down payment of approximately 40–50% is required.
Volvo Penta D2-75 with 950 L diesel tanks, dual Racor filters, and a fuel polishing system ensures reliable operation, while the lifting centerboard (1.14–2.90 m) and twin skegs with rudders make the boat both shallow-draft and stable.
The sail package in Hydranet (fully battened mainsail, solent, and staysail) is combined with a spinnaker pole, upgraded ST55 primary winches, an electric winch, and all handling in the cockpit for easy and safe shorthanded sailing. Navigation is state-of-the-art with a complete B&G system, dual 12” Zeus plotters, Halo 20+ radar, AIS, autopilot, and a fully independent backup autopilot.
Self-sufficiency is exceptional: lithium battery pack (3×200 Ah), 1170 W solar panels, powerful charging/conversion, isolation transformer, and electronic leakage sensors for both water and electrical protection. Onboard, there is also a Webasto hydronic heater, water heater, and full comfort with a galley (oven, stove, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine), spacious saloon with 270° panoramic view, and Comfort version with separate shower cabin.
The safety equipment is complete for ocean sailing and includes a Viking 8-person life raft, EPIRB, Spinlock life jackets, safety lines, MOB equipment, and multiple anchors (Rocna, Spade, Fortress).
The boat is financed through French leasing via LizMer.
