About the boat
We now have the honor to broker a fantastically fine classic International DRAKE, model year 1957, built in “mahogany & oregon pine”. This international drake has been well maintained and comes with many sails as well as an accompanying trailer.
Classic International Dragon is a legendary keelboat in the one-design class, designed by the renowned Norwegian Johan Anker in 1929. The International Dragon is a true symbol of sailing and became an Olympic class in 1948, maintaining its prestigious status until the Munich Olympics in 1972. With its elegant, long keel and refined meter-boat lines, the classic International Dragon has remained practically unchanged, offering a perfect balance between tradition and groundbreaking innovation.
